Remote Control or Self Control: Staying Healthy in a Media Culture

ACME Vermont's second "Media Education in Action" Summit brought together more than 150 educators, students, public health experts, independent media producers and community activists to discuss the media and public health. It was an inspiring and enlightening day! The day-long event featured workshops, panel discussions and participants were treated to a keynote address by popular author and filmmaker Jean Kilbourne.

The May 9th conference was co-sponsored by Champlain College and the CCTV Center for Media and Democracy.

As a follow up to the conference we thought we would share some photos of the day and streaming video of interviews conducted during the event.
